Abhijeet needed a professional style to revamp his blog, which was changing from a Tech blog, to a blog focussed on internet marketing.

The design process involved experimenting with several colour schemes to find something professional, but approachable. The JeetBlog design pays attention to details such as unique sidebar headings, a useful and informative footer and a fresh wordmark/logo.

Though I didn’t have the pleasure of working on the whole site for Jeff and Lisa, I did implement a rather spiffy Twitter area to their beautiful site.

This Thesis skin is not in use at Pretty Much Amazing, but is shown here as it’s still a worthy example of Thesis redesign.

Simon had a reasonably fresh Thesis install and wanted something a little different that reflected his blog’s interest in success and wisdom.

Some of the details Simon specifically requested included an inverted logo in the footer as well as navigation at the top and bottom of the page.

The Wordful design was not done by me; it was a photoshop splice into Thesis. I show it here for two reasons. Firstly, it was one of the first sites to stray right out of the Thesis box and several people told Charles (the site owner) that it couldn’t be done. Secondly, to show that I’m comfortable converting essentially any design into Thesis.

AmiExpat was one of the early sites for Kristarella Studios. It presented multiple challenges, particularly in trying to fit in a lot of information without feeling cuttered or overwhelming.

AmiExpat was one of the earliest sites in the Thesis community to have dropdown navigation, which helped in accomodating the volume of information. It also posseses link templates, which delve deep to display links on parent pages, for their child and grandchild pages as well as themed banners for these page families.

This is another of Ryan Malone’s sites. It is dedicated to the stories of our ancestors, and as such he wanted a warm, vintage, memory feel.

Some fun features include the navigation tabs, which pull up when you hover over them, the tag-style widgets and photo corners around the content.

SpaceCrazed was completely redesigned to indulge an obsession with space, astronomy, technology and science fiction.

The design was originally built upon the Leviathan child theme for the Hybrid theme for WordPress, but we changed to Thesis after the 1.4.2 release (because it was just so good).

The blog for Lofts.com has a fun, yet professional theme to support their real estate business. This blog covers the Boston area, but new blogs may be created to cover other areas and share the design.

Ryan Malone is a pioneer in elder care education and is building a network of websites based on and around elder care.

Inside Elder Care and Leaders in Elder Care are based on the same layout, with minor changes to the colours and header to differentiate the two. The idea is that they are evidently linked, but also separate. Future Elder Care sites may adopt this layout as well.
